I am blessed with two wonderful little boys, and it's been fun to come up with decorating ideas for their rooms. But I do often long for a chance to decorate a girl's room, and often get distracted by decorating ideas that are a little more soft and feminine.
One of my fantasy rooms is a Tiffany themed room, since Tiffany blue is one of my favorite colors. The look I'd envision for a Tiffany room is classic and luxurious (like the shop and Audrey Hepburn), with touches of Tiffany blue, crystal, and mirrored surfaces like diamonds. It's also subdued and easy to create. It works with simple white walls and pops of Tiffany themed accents. For even more impact, paint an accent wall or two with Tiffany blue paint and add simple white wall art - like china plates or vinyl decals - for a look that is crisp and posh.
The Tiffany theme is a popular choice for weddings, so don't forget to check out wedding supplies when you're coming up with decorating ideas. Little Tiffany blue favor boxes, for example, are a great way to organize and store small items while adding a touch of color. Tiffany blue ribbon and fabric can be used to add decorative touches to lampshades, upholstered furniture, pillows and decorative boxes.
